Donald Trump’s stupid nicknames for political opponents are infamous. “Low Energy Jeb,” “Little Marco,” etc. Recently, in a tweet, he went after Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), the head democrat on the House Intelligence Committee.
It didn’t go so well for him. In fact, it’s safe to say that if Trump actually experienced the emotion of shame, he’d be pretty embarrassed right now. Here’s the exchange:
Little Adam Schiff, who is desperate to run for higher office, is one of the biggest liars and leakers in Washington, right up there with Comey, Warner, Brennan and Clapper! Adam leaves closed committee hearings to illegally leak confidential information. Must be stopped!

Mr. President, I see you’ve had a busy morning of “Executive Time.” Instead of tweeting false smears, the American people would appreciate it if you turned off the TV and helped solve the funding crisis, protected Dreamers or…really anything else. https://t.co/lVqQRu2Gjl

The only lies and leaks in Washington are coming from Trump and his criminal co-conspirators in the Republican Party, like Devin Nunes. The reality is that people like Schiff want to find out the truth and hold those who commit wrongdoing accountable. Meanwhile, the Republican Party has already decided that no matter what happened, Trump and his team must be defended. Power is much more important to Republicans than justice.
Here are some of the other great tweets that Schiff has posted recently:
Quite the opposite, Mr. President. The most important fact disclosed in this otherwise shoddy memo was that FBI investigation began July 2016 with your advisor, Papadopoulos, who was secretly discussing stolen Clinton emails with the Russians. https://t.co/2rGOE1jGg2

If the memo was really about oversight, committee members would want to read the underlying documents and bring in the FBI. Republicans voted against both.
The interest was not oversight, it was a political hit job on the FBI in the service of the President: pic.twitter.com/LJD3qLGPw6

Even the misleading memo by Republicans demonstrates that the origin of this investigation involved Papadopoulos not Page, and involved collusion with the Russians: pic.twitter.com/E2LainMNIk
