Hannity really stepped in it big time during his show last night. He came out at first smearing the New York Times for their report that Trump already tried to fire Mueller nearly a year ago, just days after his appointment.
Sean asserted that the NYT has been wrong so many times, nobody can trust them anymore. He said none of HIS sources could confirm the story, implying it was “fake news” without actually saying those words.
Then came the crushing defeat. While still on air, Hannity was forced by Fox to humiliate himself in front of the camera and completely change his story. Somehow in space of minutes, but only after they saw Hannity literally lying live on-air, they “confirmed the story.”
Enjoy the short clip below and have a laugh at Hannity’s expense.
Sean Hannity: The New York Times is trying to distract you. They say Trump tried to fire Mueller, but our sources aren’t confirming that!
Sean Hannity, minutes later: Alright, yeah, maybe our sources confirm Trump wanted to fire Mueller. But so what? That’s his right. Anywho… pic.twitter.com/yUIt7Un56d
